We are a small family owned cattery dedicated to preserving this stunning natural breed. We have been obsessed with Maine Coons since we first encountered one at a show years ago and from there it's become a steady fascination we learn about daily.
Our breeding philosophy is centered around breed preservation and producing healthy, happy kittens that find their forever homes, only after ensuring their new home abides to the same standards of care we provide at home base.

Located out of Rhode Island, we have serviced all over New England, trasnsporting our cats personally to minimize stress of travel and eliminate the risk of third party handling.

All cats have full pedigrees, 5 generation documents available upon request.

At Mystic Rhodes, we strive to improve the breed by extensively testing a cat's physical health and temperment before choosing the best possible match to produce the best quality offspring. Deviations from breed standard is discouraged and not part of our practice.

To add, we only adopt out of-age kittens to responsible and well informed homes. All homes must agree to the screening process. This includes a basic vet check, home life questions and ensuring that whether homeowner or renting, the cat will never end up in a shelter. We offer a judgement free surrender should you ever find you can no longer care for our cat.
